Sculptural Felting with Alexandra Goodall

Sculptural felting and modeling are the focus of this workshop, with an introduction to new techniques and creative additions to create texture and form. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a creative, vibrant artist. Alexandra has been working in felt and mixed media for years, with work ranging from hats to entire solar systems. Creative forms, hollow techniques, and working with negative space are all signatures of her playful and moving work.
This workshop will be particularly exciting for those with prior felting experience, but will be accessible to first-timers as well. Alexandra's teaching style is open and collaborative, developing the skills and vision of all attendees.
Workshop fee $130, plus a $7 basic materials fee, with additional wool, colourings and sculpting materials available for purchase ($32) - or you can bring your own wool, soap, wire,beads, sticks, tape, sheets of plastic, and other textural items.
